1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ThankSites ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, visitors, and anyone who accesses the Service.

2. Description of Service

ThankSites allows you to create personalized, animated websites for occasions such as birthdays, Valentine's Day, New Year, and other celebrations. You select a template, customize it with your message and details, pay a one-time fee, and receive a unique shareable link to your published site.

3. Pricing and Payment

ThankSites operates on a one-time payment model. Prices are displayed at the time of purchase and vary depending on the template tier selected:

  • Basic templates: $2.99 per site
  • Premium templates:$5.99 – $7.99 per site

All payments are processed by Paddle.com, who acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment processing, currency conversion, sales tax, and invoicing on our behalf. We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay. Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to change without prior notice, though any changes will not affect sites already purchased. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

4. No Refunds Policy

All purchases on ThankSites are final and non-refundable. Because our product is a digital good that is delivered immediately upon payment, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits under any circumstances.

We encourage you to use the free preview feature to review your site thoroughly before completing your purchase. What you see in the preview is exactly what your recipient will see.

5. Editing Your Site

After purchasing, you will receive a unique edit link that allows you to make changes to your published site at any time. You may update the following:

  • Your personal message and recipient's name
  • Color themes and styling options
  • Photos (on supported templates)
  • Music selection (on Premium templates)

You may not change the template itself after purchase. If you wish to use a different template, you will need to create and purchase a new site.

6. Site Availability

We aim to keep all published sites available indefinitely. However, we reserve the right to remove or suspend sites that violate these terms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for temporary downtime due to maintenance, server issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ThankSites to:

  • Post content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, threatening, or otherwise objectionable
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person
  • Infringe on any intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload malware, viruses, or any harmful code
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to promote illegal activities
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems

We reserve the right to remove any site and terminate access without notice if we determine these terms have been violated.

8. Intellectual Property

All templates, designs, animations, and underlying code are the property of ThankSites and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. When you purchase a site, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that specific site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from our templates.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of any personal content (messages, photos, names) you provide when creating your site. By uploading content, you grant ThankSites a non-exclusive license to host and display that content as part of your published site. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you upload does not violate third-party rights.

10. Limitation of Liability

ThankSites is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThankSites shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific site in question.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
